All athletes benefit from the increased function of their nervous system both in the enjoyment of their sport and in the results they get when they need to perform. Coordination, motion and recovery are all increased through specific care.

In our office we do not just adjust the spine, but adjust all extremities and ancillary soft tissue. Elite athletes focused on the highest mental state, the “theta state” find our nervous system reorganization a solid foundation to accessing the “flow” on a more consistent and defined basis.

“Dr. Justin is truly an amazing healer and Doctor. I found him through a mutual friend and was immediately blown away at his presence with me and his abilities to solve my health concern completely. I have been to over 30 Chiropractors in my life and the care and education I receive from Dr. Justin tops all of them. My only hope is that the rest of the world finds Dr. Justin so they can experience life completely like I am now. Thank You Dr. J!!”

Sports Chiropractic and Performance Care in Seattle

You do not have to be a professional athlete to care about moving well. Evolve works with active adults, recreational athletes, and competitors whose goals may include moving more comfortably, understanding a recurring limitation, recovering from training demands, or returning to an activity they enjoy.

At Evolve Chiropractic Studio in Queen Anne, Dr. Justin Goslin begins with the person and the activity. Your sport, training schedule, injury history, movement demands, and performance goals all help shape the evaluation and the conversation about care.

Start With the Movement That Matters

A useful performance goal is specific. You may want to rotate more comfortably during a golf swing, tolerate longer runs, move through a lift with better control, or return to training after discomfort changed your routine.

Tell Dr. Justin which movement is difficult, when the concern began, what you have already tried, and what advice you have received from other healthcare or performance professionals. This creates a clearer starting point than a general goal to perform better.

    A Whole-Body Evaluation

Athletic movement involves more than the spine. The current Evolve approach may consider the spine, extremities, soft tissue, posture, and the way different regions work together during activity.

Your evaluation is used to discuss what may be contributing to the concern and whether chiropractic care is appropriate. When another assessment or a different type of care is needed, that should be part of the conversation.

    From Function to Flow

At Evolve, flow describes the experience of being fully engaged in an activity, with movement, attention, and timing working together. It is not a guaranteed result of an adjustment. It is a useful performance goal that can help clarify what moving well means to you.

Care stays grounded in your individual function. Dr. Justin listens, assesses, personalizes the approach, and follows relevant changes in comfort, movement, and activity tolerance over time.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be injured to schedule a sports chiropractic visit?

No. Some people schedule because of pain or a movement limitation, while others want to discuss a recurring issue or better understand how their body is responding to training. The evaluation helps determine whether chiropractic care is suitable.

Does the evaluation include areas outside the spine?

The current Evolve approach may include extremities and related soft tissue when they are relevant to the concern. Ask Dr. Justin what will be evaluated and why.

Can chiropractic care guarantee better performance or prevent injury?

No. Athletic performance and injury risk are influenced by many factors. Care should be discussed in terms of your individual findings, movement goals, and realistic expectations.

What should I bring to the appointment?

Bring relevant records and be ready to describe your sport, training volume, recent changes, previous injuries, and the exact movements that are difficult. A short video may be useful if it safely shows the activity, but confirm with the clinic before relying on it for assessment.
